The Life Skills Project
For my 2023 summer internship I was chosen as one of the designers to work with the Community Ideas Factory to develop interactive learning modules for the homeless community in Oakville. The Life Skills project involves teaching life skills in effective ways to the homeless community.  We used research from the first year to inform our designs and to  create a visual brand for the Life skills project. Working with the non for profits in Oakville we were able to carry out user testing as well.
My Goals
I wanted to come on board for this project because it aligns with my personal values and it was a great way to help out my community in a way that also advanced my career. I knew that working in this position meant I would have to make sure my communication was clear and concise as I was working on a team with other designers as well.
I am under an NDA for the time being on this project. I can't share the work, but you can visit the projects website here to read about the experience.
Here are my other projects on show. Explore them all!
